For the first two periods it wasn't great, but the Canes hung around long enough for their special teams to eventually take over. Jarvis was impactful in his return from injury. The building was electric for the comeback in the 3rd. Martin made key saves late.

It was an uphill battle for the Canes, trailing 1-0, then 2-1, and then 3-2, until they eventually broke thru took their first lead 4-3. Columbus would however tie it late before winning it in OT shootout. Pyotr was taken off the ice in overtime after an upper body hit, Spencer Martin would finish the game in net for Carolina.

The Hurricanes played a good ten minutes to start the game, and scored first, but ultimately the Devils controlled a majority of the game winning 4-2.

The Blues were the better team early, but a late first period pp goal and an early second period goal propelled the Hurricanes to victory. Kochetkov was great, and Necas is the hottest player in the NHL. The team improved to 13-4 overall and 7-1 at home.

Carolina returned home and Martin came up with a big shutout. Martinook also stayed hot and the Necas point streak continues. The team improved to 12-4-0 this season.

For the first time ever the Hurricanes played hockey in the state of Utah and it looked pretty good until the 3rd. Pyotr was banged up and pulled, the canes went 8 straight minutes on the pp without a goal, and Vejmelka was great in goal for Utah.

A multi-goal first period got the Canes off and running and they went to work from there. Necas extends his point streak to 10 games. Martinook was impactful again. Pyotr was excellent.
