We can pretend love is the same thing as putting up with abuse, hatred, or discrimination. Love is hard work. Love means telling the truth, having compassion, and standing up for yourself and others. Our love for others is centered in how God cares for us. Be sure to count how many times the pastors say a form of the word ‘Love’.
