On August 19th, 1978 13 year old Genette Tate set off on her bicycle from her home Barton Farm Cottage in Aylesbeare in Devon sometime after 2pm to deliver copies of the Express and Echo newspaper. By 4pm that afternoon Genette had disappeared without a trace. Despite a mammoth search and an investigation lasting over 40 years Genette has never been found.
