We discuss all kinds of things in this one: the horrors of war, the audition process, Scientology, what race Vin Diesel is, how problematic it is for two white people to discuss what race Vin Diesel is. We also discovered that if you don’t want to watch a 3 hour movie, the clips that you need are probably all on YouTube! God bless the internet, God bless us, and God bless Vin Diesel.
Tbh I don’t know if that’s factually true, he may have acted or written before but this feature film is without a doubt his baby. His baby that says the n-word! Listen to us navigate that while still trying to somewhat defend our Vin fandom. And hey, now that we’re back for the long haul, let’s be friends.

Melinda and Andrew are reunited once more to discuss Vin’s newest single Days Are Gone. They also make a very important announcement about the future of the pod!!!
Well well well, here we are. The good news is Hobbs and Shaw holds up pretty well for being a bastardization of the Fast and Furious franchise. The bad news is - there is no bad news! Enjoy yet another delightful episode where Melindandrew poorly describe intricate fight scenes and argue over the pronunciation of words. They are also joined by the golden-voiced Sam Clark (@senordavenport) for one last thrill ride. But don’t be sad. Stay tuned for a series retrospective and to get more info on what the F8 of this podcast will be...
Anyone who knows Vin Diesel knows that he is a creator at heart. Recently he graduated from recording himself singing Rihanna covers in his basement (https://youtu.be/w5t-CmCwhZo) to releasing professionally produced originals. His new song Feel Like I Do is a club banger with Degrassi Next Gen undertones - an instant classic! Melinda and Andrew were once again a lil sleepy, but thankfully Vin has given us the antidote. Thank you Vin!!!!
The eighth movie marks the end of the franchise until the 9th movie comes out next year (thanks Obama). I mean, we’ll be doing Hobbs and Shaw but it won’t be the same!!! But while we are sad to say goodbye to our friends for now, we are excited to talk about bad boy daddy Dom going rogue with a one-woman international crime syndicate in the sky.
The Pacifier is famously the second film in the Fast and Furious canon, taking place shortly after the first movie while Brian and Roman are reuniting for 2 Fast 2 Furious. Melinda and Andrew were very tired when they recorded this and it shows. Enjoy!!!
Paul Walker’s face may be CGI, but one thing that’s not CGI is our love for these movies. And when you love something, you accept it for what it is, flaws and all! We are thrilled to be joined by Matt McPherson of the Oh My Goss podcast empire to discuss where it all went wrong. RIP Paul Walker!!!!

Ok these episodes are getting LONG and DAUNTING because these movies are getting LONG and DAUNTING. So much insane shit happens. Melinda is practically out of breath just trying to explain the plot. Andrew gets attacked. Davey is a dream. The audio sucks but love is in the air! Hold onto your Jesus pieces and enjoy!!!!

Fast Five is when the series finally pushes the Nos button and now we’re flying in high gear!!! The Rock shows up. Tyrese is back!!!!! So much happens. Our friends Jill and Dan Swank Warner stop by to help us navigate this new terrain. Side note: I (Melinda) have known Jill for nine years but primarily in an online capacity. Her username was JillSwankinoff and I just assumed that was her last name. I learned during this episode that her last name was in fact Swank the whole time. Swankinoff was a dirty joke. Enjoy!!!!
