After a three-year slumber, The Cast Beyond the Wall podcast returns to tell the god of death, "not today." In our return episode, hosts Caleb Masters, Daniel Stull, and Austin Lucari reunite for another review, analysis, and fan vs fan debate over what to expect from the Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon.
If you're a longtime listener, welcome back! Much like Jon Snow, you just can't keep a good Targaryn down. If you're tuning in for the first time, welcome to what has been described by the internet as the show that is "just hanging with your smart buddies talking about Game of Thrones," or as we often like to call the experience, the Dance of Dueling Dragonites.

Hello, lords and ladies of the realm! The Cast Beyond the Wall continues our recap and review of Game of Thrones season 8 with a look at the long-awaited series finale, "The Iron Throne." Host Caleb Masters is re-joined by co-hosts Austin Lucari and Daniel Stull to talk through the finale episode of the show and determine whether or not David Benioff and Dan Weiss stuck the landing.
After last week's shocking twist in "The Bells," our characters are left picking up the pieces as they determine how they are going to restore order to Westeros in the wake of Daenerys' attack on King's Landing. In the final hour of Game of Thrones, our characters are given bittersweet sendoffs ultimately leading to a hopeful ending for the Seven Kingdoms.
With so much to wrap up, were we satisfied? We run down the list of closing moments and weigh whether or not "The Iron Throne" was logical, emotionally satisfying, and true to the story George R.R. Martin set out to tell in 1996 with the release of the first novel, A Game of Thrones.
This may be the last episode of Game of Thrones, but The Cast Beyond the Wall will return again next week one last time to reflect on how this final season changes the series as a whole. We'll also spend time answering your questions! Send your questions, reactions to the final season, and closing remarks to our email [email protected] or send us a message on our Facebook or Twitter pages.
The final points are in and with a new king in town and the last of the key players passing away, Caleb retained his lead in this year's fantasy league, but just barely.
