The CastAways

~ Evidence! Investigations! Seances! ~ oh my ~

We went to The Haunted Shanley Hotel in Napanoch, NY for an on site investigation and overnight stay. We stayed in Marguerite's room, just beneath a serial killer's room on the third floor who still lingers. We wanted to take an episode to talk about our experience, the history of the hotel, and to share some of the evidence that we received.

Special thanks to the staff at The Shanley, y'all are wicked cool for recognizing and respecting these souls as you would your own family. So cool!

Disclaimer:

We began last week with some feminine energy for Mother’s Day, so we felt it was appropriate to do an episode on some important feminine figures in the occult world, such as Pamela Coleman Smith and the dark Goddess Lilith (among others!)

This week we're diving deeper into sound clearing - but with tuning forks rather than singing bowls, and we'll also be chatting a bit about the throat chakra in regards to chanting. We first covered sound clearing in Ep. 6: Back to the Drawing Ward, so if you're looking for more of an introduction to the topic in general, check out that episode first!

Our sound engineer Auby is our ~secret~not~so~secret~"weapon"~ and third CastAway, so these sound clearing episodes are our, "hey thanks for being so rad" send ups to the sound engineers and producers out there who make us all sound so good. So here are some tips to clear out the stagnant & not so great energies from yourself & your home.

(You, of course, are a divine being. But we can pick up these energies from the nasties around us. Protect your energy, babes!)

This one is for the spooky true crime junkie 👻

Our entire document containing our notes for the episode that we wanted to record went missing. No clue what happened, sooooo we decided to change it up! While talking about missing things, we decided to cover missing people that psychics have helped to locate. We also discuss other investigations , like murders and cold cases.
