Welcome to the 138th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed PIXAR Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we discuss the newly released on Disney Plus film ... LIGHTYEAR!

LIGHTYEAR, the Toy Story adjacent movie that shows the origin story for the Buzz Lightyear character, is definitely polarizing. It was the first PIXAR films to hit theaters in a while, which left it with a lackluster release at the box office. It is still Buzz Lightyear, a character every PIXAR fan is familiar with. But it's not quite THE Buzz Lightyear ... so where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including another incredible World of Color Brain round and the next installment of Make Mine Mascot!

Welcome to the 137th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we go back to the castle with ... Belle's Magical World!

In this episode, we watch another Beauty and the Beast "midquel", this time in the form of three shorter stories all compiled together to make up Belle's Magical World. Yes, it's another Beauty and the Beast movie, but this one felt even more ... off? It tried to capture the same charm of the original, but clearly you can't just replicate a classic. But where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 136th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we celebrate Christmas in July with ... Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas!

In this episode, we check out the follow up to the Disney Classic Beauty and the Beast, with this Christmas story that takes place DURING the events of the original movie. Yes, the Christmas is enchanted, but was this really the film that everyone was expecting. Even the addition of Tim Curry didn't quite elevate the movie to the heights Disney was hoping for. But where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 135th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we watch Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin!

In this episode, we revisit Hundred Acre Woods and join Winnie The Pooh and friends with the 1997 film from DisneyToon Studios, Pooh's Grand Adventure! Yes, it's more of the same that we know and love from Pooh Bear, but is that really a bad thing? It's a full-length feature film, which we aren't used to. But where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 134th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we finish the trilogy of Aladdin movies with ... Aladdin and the King of Thieves!

In this episode, we discuss yet another Aladdin movie, but probably the sequel that fans remember the most, Aladdin and the King of Thieves! With Robin Williams back as the genie, and a little better budget, the third installment of the franchise was a solid end to all the Aladdin films. It wasn't all good though, as the movie left a lot to be desired, as we all quickly found out. But where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 133rd episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we continue our exploration of the DisneyToons Studios with ... A Goofy Movie!

In this episode, we discuss the single most requested film to watch since this podcast began, the movie we have all been waiting for - A Goofy Movie! Joined by friend of the show Trevor Starkey from That Nerdy Site, who called dibs on this movie 2 years ago, we finally watch and talk about a must-watch film on the Disney Plus streaming service. Goofy never really got the main character star treatment from Disney, so this movie was huge not only for the character, but the world revolving around the lovable goof. But after all these years, is the story and soundtrack still as good as we all remember? And where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 132nd episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we continue our exploration of the DisneyToons Studios with ... The Return of Jafar!

In this episode, we discuss the second film from the Disneytoon Studios animators, with the sequel to Aladdin, also known as The Return of Jafar! With the success of Aladdin keeping the folks at Disney riding high, a sequel was inevitable to that instant classic. But was it needed? And was this movie REALLY the story about Jafar returning, or was another character actually the star? And that music was ... a choice. But where did it land on The Hierarchy?

Welcome to the 131st episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we start our exploration of the DisneyToons Studios with ... DuckTales The Movie: The Treasure of the Lost Lamp!

In this episode, we kick off Phase Four of the Castle Vault with a new series dedicated all to the often forgotten DisneyToon Studios! The first movie in the catalog is DuckTakes The Movie: The Treasure of the Lost Lamp, which was just an extension of the hit animated series, DuckTales. With this movie coming out in 1990, it's hard to imagine it being a precursor to one of Disney's biggest movies, Aladdin, but you can see how this adventure film shaped the future Disney classic! But where did it land on The Hierarchy?
