The Casual Fighter Podcast

It’s been 84 years. Minus 83. But the crew hasn’t talked since October of 2024, and we do some catch up, plus we review the EVO Announcement Show, The Game Awards and that wild Street Fighter movie segment, and talk about what’s next for this podcast!

Finally. The finale. What a year. We talk about various items happening with AAA and independent fighting games coming out, and we discuss what makes a good game for a casual and pro player marriage. Also, we rap about our year and look forward to the next! See you in 2025!

We talked about a lot of nothing. Just vibes. It’s right before ComboBreaker weekend, so things are about to get hectic. Also Hood Lore continues.

Announcements. Announcements everywhere. Que up the Buzz Lightyear meme, because we go over 2XKO, Fatal Fury, Guilty Gear, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, and more that were revealed at EVO Japan! The episode was so big, we didn’t have time to go into Hood Lore this week!
