One of the best ways to know what something is is to know what it is not.

At the beginning of this new teaching series, we delve into some theological controversies to understand who Jesus is not, so that we can better understand who He truly is.

Temptation is something we all deal with every day, and sometimes it shows up looking like freedom.

That is why we, as believers, have to stay alert. It often starts with a simple thought, something contrary to what God says. If we don’t catch it early, that thought can become a desire that pulls us toward sin.

The key is to deal with it immediately, before it takes root and leads us in the wrong direction.

What do you do when the Lord gives you a vision that looks humanly impossible?

If you have fear instead of faith, something is wrong, and this traces back to the fall of man.

So, how then do you respond to and handle those great visions?

Honour is a vital currency in the kingdom, and to walk in ancient graces, we must uphold the integrity of the body and value the vessels God uses.

In the Catalyst Church, we have experienced grace and kairos by the help of God.

Now, it is time for labour! It is the time to learn sustenance of the graces we have received in the place of labour in prayers.

We must not always wait for special meetings and encounters with God. As necessary as these meetings are, there is also a place for labour.

As a believer, you can grow in faith. Those who do more for God have expanded their faith by hearing and acting on His Word.

Visionary faith isn’t just believing in what is. It is believing in what is possible. A visionary believer sees God’s plan, anchors to His promises, and moves with conviction.

Faith isn’t wishful thinking, it’s action. It dares to see the future God has promised and brings it into the present. If God has given you the capacity, use it fully. Believe it, walk in it, and watch it manifest.

A believer must take heed of his heart. You have a part to play in remaining steadfast. You must understand that the things you feed on will significantly affect your walk with God.

The church in Colossae had issues with doctrines from Jewish teachers laying on them legalism. But Apostle Paul teaches them to stand firm in the truth of the Word of God and reminds them of how their experience with Christ should affect their conduct.

How we respond to any word God gives us matters.

Faith exploits would be challenging and would not always be within our comfort zone. Actions of faith involves holding on to the word of God.

Our faith banks on a God that has the ability to do signs and wonders. Facts are not determined by experiences and our experiences don’t influence the word of God but the word should influence our experiences.

Apostle Paul’s letter to the Colossians is a powerful reminder that Christ is enough. In a world filled with distractions and false teachings, believers must stand firm in the truth of the gospel, letting their lives reflect Christ in every way.

The Word of God is not just literature; it is divine, bringing light, understanding, and transformation. Instead of seeking worldly wisdom or mystery, we are called to root ourselves deeply in Christ, who is the very wisdom of God.

Let the Scripture guide you, fill you with wisdom, and strengthen your convictions because we have everything we need in Christ alone.
