Leading on from a message given by Senior Pastoral Leader Bruce Downes 2 weeks ago, how do we grow in holiness? Our words will only get us so far, but our actions will affect our friends, families and the people we love. We look at the question “How do we become transformed in Christ” by dealing with the habits in our lives that may prevent us from being the person God wants us to be.

We can sometimes think that beginning a year means starting off with a new decision, a new action, a new resolution. But this morning we want to talk about the habits that will lead us to holiness. Here’s a practical way to enforce these habits so that we can live as the Company of Saints.

We are looking at the similarities of what Peter and his people went through back then to what we as the Church are going through now. As the Church, our habits must help us to stand out to people who don’t know Christ. But the Holy Spirit has given us things to put into action – this encouraging message is one you cannot miss!
