A prayer for your new beginning 🤍

Sometimes we desperately want a fresh start.

We want to forget the past, stop making the same mistakes, and finally become the woman we know God is calling us to be.

But what if your new beginning starts with something simpler?

Letting go.

So today, I want to pray this over you:

A Prayer for a New Beginning

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for the gift of a new beginning.

Help me to release the parts of my past that I am still carrying. Help me to forgive myself for the mistakes I have made, the ways I have fallen short, and the times I have allowed fear, doubt, or the need for control to keep me from saying yes to You.

Help me to look at my past with gratitude instead of shame.

Remind me that You can write a new story with my life.

Help me to be fully present in this moment, trusting that You are here with me and that nothing is too big for You to heal, transform, or redeem.

Give me the courage to become the woman You are calling me to be.

Help me to let go of who I was, embrace who I am becoming, and trust You with everything that lies ahead.

Make me willing to participate in the miracles You want to work through my life.

Give me the grace to be intentional.

Give me the courage to be brave.

Give me the faith to say yes.

And when I am tempted to believe that I cannot change, remind me that with You, nothing is impossible.

I trust You with my past.

I trust You with my present.

And I trust You with my future.

Amen.

My love, God can write a new story, even when you don’t feel like He can.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You just have to be willing to let Him lead.

Have you ever had a dream in your heart and immediately started questioning it?

Here’s what I know for sure:

The dreams God places on your heart are not reserved for someone else.

And the truth is, every dream requires trust.

And if you’re anything like me, that can feel incredibly uncomfortable.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that feeling shaky doesn’t always mean you’re on the wrong path. Sometimes it’s a sign that you’re growing. Sometimes it’s a sign that God is inviting you to trust Him more deeply.

As you listen to this episode, I want you to reflect on a few questions:

* What dream or desire have you been talking yourself out of?

* Where might God be asking you to trust Him a little more?

* Are you making decisions based on His calling or on other people’s expectations?

* What would change if you believed that God would provide exactly what you need for the next step?

At the time, I was talking about bold dreams, big faith, and saying yes to God.

But listening to it now, I hear something deeper…

Following God isn’t always about chasing a bigger dream.

Sometimes it’s about releasing our grip on how we thought things would unfold.

It’s about trusting Him when the path feels uncertain.It’s about believing that God’s plan is good, even when it stretches us beyond our comfort zone.

Many of us spend so much energy asking, “What’s next?”

But perhaps the better question is:

“Can I trust God with what He’s asking of me today?”
