Most of the times we challenge God. We want that He may prove Himself to us. We are like the Pharisees, who constantly challenge Him and test His patience and His love. And what else do we do??

For most of us, the world and anything attached to it is a reason for our fears. All of us fear losing our worldly attachments: wealth, job, loved ones, house, sleep,etc. But Jesus says something else and is very particular with it.

Many of us have been through rough times. And those rough times make us bitter, frustrated, depressed, disturbed. However, God through these rough times tries to communicate to us. He tries to make a deal with us saying that if we listen and obey Him, He will change our lives, from a complete mess to a life which is arranged properly.

This reflection is about humility. There are times when we do stand insulted( in public). We must not rebuke, but stay humble.

Most of the times, all that matters to us is public opinion. What will people say?? Will 'they" like it?? Do I look good? Do I look better than others?

We forget, our goal in life is to please God and not people. Our focus should be more on the Creator than the creation. When we focus on the creation all we care about is the exterior portion of our lives: wealth, riches, decoration, status, respect. But if all that matters to us is the Creator, then our focus will be on holiness, purity, devotion and goodness.

Humans as we are, we are weak and our faith is absolutely Terrible. We start all our journeys as missionaries of Christ, with so much of energy and enthusiasm, just like Peter, but then, just like him again, we get moved by the storm and fall into water. Buy Jesus, our hero, always saves us, without taking into condition our fallibility and sins.

Prayer, is talking and communicating with God. Do not simply repeat words which you have memorized since your young age. Simply speak. Understand what you speak.

Jesus promises many happiness to us in Matthew 5 : 3-12. True happiness comes from Jesus and by doing what He asks us to do.
