This week we revisit our favourite past episodes as the finale of season 1 draws closer.
I spoke to Donna Stead about her adorable cat Heidi, who has feline asthma and has soared to Instagram fame with more than 10k followers. Donna is also a brilliant cat foster mummy who works closely with 'Mog on the Tyne Cafe' based in Newcastle UK. The cafe provides rescue cats with shelter until they find permanent homes. All cat lovers are welcome to enjoy the sweet kitties along with a warming beverage. But Donna doesn't stop there she also makes cute kitty bandanas, which are available to purchase online and modelled by Heidi and friends.
Donna is such an inspirational cat mum and we can tell that our feline friends have a close place in her heart. She uses Heidi's Instagram account to bring awareness to feline asthma, which helps cat owners or those thinking about getting a cat to understand the condition better. If you would like to find out more about Donna and her accounts online follow her on Instagram @heidi.kat and @cutekittybandanas and for the cat cafe @mogonthetyne.

He worked for a British Company in Belgium and was offered a 2-year assignment to the London head office which ended up lasting 15 years. During this time Peter's career really took off as he climbed the ranks. In 2011, Peter decided he had seen enough of corporate life and wanted more freedom and to step off the ladder. He completely changed his lifestyle by downsizing significantly and build up a property portfolio. He now owns a dozen properties across London which he rents out. Before covid and before his cat Bubble came into his life, Peter spent most of his time travelling the world with his partner. He has developed an interest in yoga and breathwork, he took up crochet as a hobby and is now involved in an exciting project in rural Belgium: a historic farm being converted to become the home of an organic farm-to-table restaurant, a yoga centre, a small hotel, and a few residential home units. Peter is really looking forward to introducing the Belgian countryside to Bubble. To find out. more about the Belgian Farm visit the website: https://indranilodge.com/

This week Michelle speaks with Maris Passarelli, is the founder of Green Ramona an e-commerce business that stands up against greenwashing, while supporting other small businesses. Maris left her native country nearly 10 years ago; she quit the corporate world, sold everything that would not fit in a bag, and left to travel the world. Since then, she's not looked back (even when she had to clean toilets for a living). She's said goodbye to her previous concept of a 'fixed career', nurtured her innate curiosity as a compass, learned about 'multipotentialities' and with all her imperfections, embraced a life that served HER for a change. Maris is also a big animal lover and enjoyed caring for her brother's dog Gordo while he worked and traveled. To find out more from Maris visit her website:

This week Michelle speaks with Iona Allan, she is an Australian violinist and avid cat lover, who also happens to be one of our cat sitters at Chatty Cats Care. Iona moved to London 3 years ago to start a master's degree in music and has been performing and teaching violin. She grew up with a variety of animals in Australia including a bird, guinea pig, and finally, after many years of begging her mother, on her 14th birthday, she got her dream pet, a cat! Iona's beautiful cat Dusty was a rescue and in such poor condition her fur looked like it was covered in dust, hence the inspiration behind the name! She needed a lot of special attention and many vet trips as a kitten to get her healthy. When Iona has to leave Dusty with her mum to move to London it was one of the hardest things she has ever done. Sadly Dusty passed away just over a year ago when she was visiting back home. Iona's experience and love for cats made her an exceptional candidate for Chatty Cats Care and now she looks after our sweet Chatty Cats.
