First recruited to Collingwood, Geoff 'Joffa' Miles eventually saw the error of his ways and ventured west only to miss his ultimate destination of Geelong by 3,398 kilometres, landing at the West Coast Eagles. A member of the Eagles' inaugural side in 1987, Joffa played 71 games for West Coast before returning east in 1992 at the invitation of coach Malcolm Blight. Miles played just one season, 20 games for the Cats, but certainly made his mark with a 23-goal purple patch over a five-week period. He has since gone on to make a significant mark on the local football scene with the Barwon Heads Seagulls. Here, the modest 58-year old takes 'The Cats' Whiskers' crew through a colourful career featuring it's share of both triumph and disappointment. It's definitely worth a listen.
