Dale Smyth played seven games for the Cats in the early 1980’s. Recruited from Inverleigh he debuted at just 17 years of age. Dale played in three consecutive Reserve grade premierships with Geelong before leaving the club and handing over the number 25 jumper to none other than the infamous Mark ‘Jacko’ Jackson.
