$40 billion in unrealized losses hitting the major big name banks. A deposit problem hit the big name banks as well. A small town Iowa bank has failed and been taken over by the FDIC.

Stay aware! This does not sound to me like the banking crisis has ended and all is well.

A favorite jibe at "conspiracy theories" - often used by neolibs, I find - is the idea that someone would talk, someone would squeal, someone would spill the beans. They just can't bear the idea that drinking their pro-state kool-aid might be a bad freakin' idea.

The thing is: yes, people talk. And those people are then either "discredited" as kooks or done away with. It's funny to me that we get the same narrative in 2023 that Clay Shaw offered to Penthouse in 1969. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Whether you freelance or you work a "stable" 9 to 5 job, I think everyone should have some degree of preparedness. Not zombie apocalypse or absolute worst case scenarios, but, as a starting point, could you float along with no assistance for 2 to 3 weeks?

OTT = over the top. And especially in the job market, behavior seems to be pretty OTT. 😒

✔️ Making random changes to your resume is not helpful. You want to be strategic rather than throwing darts with a blindfold on.
✔️Are you applying for roles you're qualified for or are you mass applying / rage applying for anything and then acting mad that no one is calling?
✔️ If someone calls you about a role you applied for, are you prepared? Or do you respond with, "Uh, I applied for everything and I don't even remember what this was. Can you, like, read the job description to me?" 😣
✔️ Instead of getting focused on a commission check, recruiters should be less willing to represent people who act like rude a-holes.

Has The Great Backlash led to bad behavior on both sides, i.e., employers and job seekers behaving in crass ways towards each other? I say yes.

✔️ Transactional ≠ no one will remember a rude jerk. This is true for both hiring managers and job seekers. 
✔️If you mistreat the person on the frontlines, upper management will hear about it. I guarantee it.
