Hobbies are important. They allow us to indulge in our passions, and give our minds a break from the grind that is our full time jobs. When shared, they reveal a different side of us that others don't often get to see. This podcast takes a dive into the waters of Costuming, Prob Building and Tabletop Gaming, which are a few interesting hobbies of a coworker of mine, Jon Goff. Check it out!

Now that I'm getting more comfortable editing audio files, I decided to submit an audiobook audition to see if it generates any interest. The title of the audio sample I recorded is:

It was fun to record and edit. Still so much to learn about editing, but the Internet has a wealth of information on how to make it sound great. For that I am thankful.

This was such a fun project to take on in 2020, putting a bright spot on a strange year. The book's pending release certainly has me optimistic that 2021 will be a great year!

In 2013, we were filling our paperwork to start yet another IVF cycle on our quest to have children. While we waited for copies of all of the signed paperwork to be made, I penned this song as a tribute to the grind that is infertility. I later went home and recorded the song. The lyrics to the song are featured in the paperback and e-Book Triple Blessing: A Father's Story of Infertility, Hope and Love, and the recorded song is also in the audiobook. It is hilarious to listen to! The lyrics are below:

The month of November marks not only Veterans Day, but also the birthday of the US Marine Corps! Oorah!!!
