Long before there were trains, in land towns were restocked through barges and steamships that made the treacherous journeys up Texas's shallow rivers. Once war with Mexico broke out, this ship was used to evacuate people that were in the path of Mexican destruction. Pour a cocktail before listening and you will feel right at home.
