The ability, to be honest,​ has eroded over the years. The people and the organizations that have ​the ability to be honesty are more successful​​l than the competition.

My first day at Oklahoma University as a football player was a wake up call to say the least. It woke me up to the fact that when you are reaching the next level, you will have to get adjusted to doing things you normally do on a bigger level.

Disappointments can be a tough thing to get past because its so internal. It's also​ the silent​ killer of success. The two types of disappointments​ are situations dealing directly with yourself and disappointments that are not in your control. I discuss how to neutralize the effects of being disappointed in yourself and what tools to use to get the valuable lessons out of the disappointments.​

When playing football I would hear the coaches tell me all the time to follow through and finish. I didn't really know what that meant until I got older. The not so hidden message was powerful when used outside of sports.

Being in sync with yourself keeps you from being distracted by opportunities that aren't for you.
