Forty leftist non-governmental organizations want the Biden-Harris administration to turn a blind-eye to the Chinese Communist Party’s crimes against humanity and its growing economic and military threats to us and the rest of the world.

Using rhetoric that mirrors the Chinese Communists’ propaganda line, their joint letter asserts that climate change imperils the world, U.S. pollution is most responsible and China is a necessary partner in staving off disaster.

This prescription for lowering our guard and declining to challenge the Chinese Communist Party’s pursuit of not just a Cold War, but a “People’s War,” against the United States will likely resonate with the Biden team’s many “Old Friends” of China. If we don’t counter decisively today’s existential threat – which is the CCP – the longer-term effects of whatever change is taking place in the world’s climate will be the least of our problems.
