The Cedric Phillips Podcast

Cedric Phillips dials up Joey Bags to make their predictions for NXT Takeover: Wargames and Survivor Series. Will Velveteen Dream beat Tommaso Ciampa to become NXT Champion? Is there any chance the Undisputed Era lose their Wargames match? How good of a match will Nakamura and Rollins have? And does WWE have the balls to let Daniel Bryan beat Brock Lesnar, further solidifying his surprising heel turn? All that and an update on Ced's ethernet cable!

Cedric Phillips dials up Joey Bags to chat about all the things they've missed over the past month during Cedric's travel. From Brock Lesnar's return, the shitshow that was Crown Jewel, and the rise of Drew McIntyre to deciding if Nia Jax is unsafe, the awesomeness of NXT, and the untimely departure of Roman Reigns, Ced and Joe had a lot to cover!

Cedric Phillips continues his NBA divisional previews with Joey Bags and the Southwest division. They talk about why it's time for Memphis to blow it up, what to expect from Luka Doncic and Dallas, why San Antonio won't make the playoffs, how New Orleans' offseason acquisitions make them better than last year, and why this division still belongs to Houston and James Harden

Cedric Phillips is joined by Worth Wollpert, Joey Bags, and Stephen King to talk about the worst division in basketball - the Southeast! Just how bad are the Atlanta Hawks going be? Do we feel bad that Kemba Walker is the fifth highest paid player on the Charlotte Hornets? Is there any chance the Orlando Magic finally break their playoff drought? Do the Miami Heat get appreciably better if they trade for Jimmy Butler? And what's the expectation for the Washington Wizards after all of their bizarre offseason moves?

Cedric Phillips continues his NBA divisional previews with Joey Bags and the Atlantic division. They talk about what it would take for the Celtics to miss the NBA Finals, what to expect from Markelle Fultz and the 76ers, why there should be optimism in Brooklyn, why there's no hope in New York, and if a peak Kawhi Leonard is good enough to propel the Raptors to the NBA Finals.

Basketball is back! Cedric Phillips starts his NBA divisional previews with Joey Bags and their home division - the Central. They talk about the Cavs and if Kevin Love can revert back to Minnesota Kevin Love, if Giannis Antetokounmpo will take another leap towards an MVP-caliber player, why the Pacers aren't taking anyone by surprise this season, why the Pistons have no ceiling, and then are joined my Mehran Latif to talk about how bad the Bulls will be along with Mehran's ridiculous Twitter handle.

Cedric Phillips dials up Joey Bags to breakdown Hell in a Cell, a show that Ced loved and Bags did not. They get into what the future looks like for Drew Mcintyre, why Becky Lynch is the best thing going in the WWE right now, their thoughts on the overbooking of Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman, and...pork chops...? Mmmhmmm yes please!

Cedric Phillips sits down with longtime friend Gerry Thompson to discuss his protest of the Magic World Championships. The two of them break down his Reddit post, discussing the aspects they agree and disagree with now that some time has passed, how things can improve in the short term and long term, and why the time was right for something like this to happen. It's a lengthy one between Ced and Gerry, but that's what happens when two longtime friends chat about something they're passionate about.

Cedric Phillips dials up Joey Bags to examine all things All In. What are the chances that any these wrestlers make it to the WWE? Why did everyone enjoy Cody vs Magnus so much? Is Kenny Omega as good as advertised? Why does Ced hate the Young Bucks so much? And what the hell is the deal with Joey Ryan?! Ced and Joe answer all those questions and quite a few more as they examine one of the most important shows in professional wrestling history.

In a podcast that was meant to be put up weeks ago (Ced's an idiot!), Cedric Phillips dials up Joey Bags for another journey into the WWE Universe. NXT Takeover and Summerslam may have been weeks ago, but it would criminal to let this podcast go to waste so enjoy it because Ced doesn't remember what they said but Joe was probably right and Ced was probably wrong - ya know, the usual.
