BRENDAN RODGERS challenged his players to play without fear against Bayern Munich and that's exactly what played out as the Bhoys put in one of their best and bravest European performances in years.

Nicolas Kuhn's second half strike had us dreaming, but in truth it'd be hard to single out any one player as a huge team effort had the German giants on the ropes.

CELTIC EASED THEIR way to another league win at the weekend as they dealt with the challenge of Dundee United in a comfortable 3-0 win at Celtic Park.

In the midst of the two legged Champions League play-off with Bayern Muncih Brendan Rodgers chose to rest a few of his key player, but once again there was no drop off in quality.

The game saw Jota's first Celtic Park goal since his return to the club, as well as yet another clean sheet for Kasper Schmeichel as the Hoops took another step closer to a 4th consecutive league title.

CELTIC SHOWED their increasing maturity in Europe once again last night as they put in a brave perfomance against Champions League big hitters Bayern Munich.

As expected the Germans had the majority of possession for large spells - especially inthe first half - but Brendan Rodgers' side showed great character to fight back from two goals down to keep themselves in with at least a slim chance in Munich next week.

Daizen Maeda's red hot form continues and the Japanese front man showed once again that he was the man for the big occasion by grabbing our all important goal on the night.

MAKE NO MISTAKE, this week's match up with German giants Bayern Munich poses a real tough test test for Celtic, but for the manager, the players, and fans alike, we wouldn't have it any other way!

To progress it's going to take a massive effort - as well as for our Bhoys to hit top form over the two legs - but this is the level of European football we aspire to and the overall hope is that we can justify our place on the big stage.

The Scottish Cup... its not for everybody! 👀

But for Celtic their place in the QuarterFinals is assured after a comprehensive win over Raith Rovers.

Six goals in less than a week tells you all you need to know about the form Daizen Maeda currently finds himself in.

The Japanese star grabbed a treble against Raith Rovers to inspire his side to a comprehensive Scottish Cup win, and the Bhoys can now look forward to the Quarter Finals of the national trophy.

Brendan Rodgers made a number of changes for this one with but there was no let up in quality as the Hoops hit 5 without reply against the Fife side.

Next up its Bayern Munich in the champions League and one that we can all look forward to.

In over 136 years of Celtic we've played in three European Finals. Lisbon in 67, Milan in 1970, and Seville in 2003.

Some of us are fortunate enough to have been at one of those games, or maybe even two...

Pat Woods - our very special guest this week - was at all three!

And as someone who has been described as one of the most influential and important historians in Celtic's history it was.a genuine privilege to be joined by Pat in The Celtic Exchange studio.
