It’s finally here. It’s Masters week, so Sean and Arron discuss everything from Jon Rahm’s iron lofts to Woody Austin’s Strokes Gained record. The podcast ends with Arron telling an emotional story from his Masters experience that illustrates why this is such a magical event for players and fans alike.

Arron Oberholser reports from on the ground at Winged Foot, where he finished T16 in the 2006 U.S. Open. He gives updates on course conditions and what players can expect from what promises to be a challenging U.S. Open.

The year’s first major is here, and it’s at a course that’s near and dear to Arron’s heart. He won the 2000 San Francisco Open by six shots at Harding Park. Arron and Sean discuss Harding Park’s place in San Francisco’s golf community, its unique history and which players they expect to contend.

This week’s Charles Schwab Challenge is the first PGA TOUR event in nearly three months. The tournament features a strong field at one of the TOUR’s most historic venues. Arron and Sean discuss what players will face after such a long layoff, the history of Colonial Country Club and how it suits some of the biggest names in the field, including Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth.

We’ve had two fundraising matches with some of the biggest names in the game, and the PGA TOUR’s return is not far away. Arron and Sean discuss what they saw at Seminole, discuss Tiger and Phil’s game a bit and what golf will look like on TOUR. Then they discuss some of the toughest losses of Arron’s career – including a missed 2-footer, a water ball at Q-School and getting smoked by Vijay – and what players can learn from those experiences.

There’s no golf being played at Augusta National this week, but the Masters is still on our minds. Arron Oberholser and Sean Martin discuss what players could face with the new November date, and Arron provides some of his Masters memories and an inside-the-ropes perspective on the iconic course.

With the golf world on hold, Arron Oberholser and Sean Martin discuss getting started in golf and how they fell in love with the game at public courses. Oberholser recalls sneaking on his home course in Northern California, and how he went from a 10 handicapper to dueling with Tiger Woods in college. Martin, on the other hand, got his start from a junior program at tiny Westlake Golf Course, which is now known as the course where George Gankas, Matthew Wolff, Chris Como and Danielle Kang got their starts.

Live from TPC Sawgrass, Arron and Sean discuss Arron’s (unfortunate) history at 17, the subtle genius of Pete Dye and some of the Stadium Course’s overlooked holes. Arron also analyzes Rory McIlroy’s final-round struggles and takes a closer look at three of the game’s young stars: Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff.
