A tree full of leaves, each with their own color and characteristics, creates something more beautiful than a lone leaf could be on its own. Together, we are the church, a mosaic masterpiece designed and assembled by the Author of Life. Romans 12:4-5

Leaves are beautiful and unique. God created people in the same way. No two of us are the same but each precious in His sight. Psalm 139:14

Christian community is vital to our growth to look more like Jesus. We need others to push and encourage us forward.

The more we know our Heavenly Father, the better we can identify Him and His voice. In a loud world of imitations, we want to be able be find the Father who matters. We know Him better when we SEE Him, when we HEAR Him, and most of all when we TRUST Him. John 10:27-28

Sometimes we try to carry and justify the sin in our lives while pointing out the bad stuff weighing others down. God says to give Him ALL our cares and worries. The good, the bad, the ugly – He wants to free us from the burden of the junk we carry.

The self-sufficiency and insecurity adults gather as we grow can often build up walls that hold us back from some of God's best. Sometimes singing is one of them yet, time and time again, scripture commands us to sing! In this lesson, we will look at reasons God wants us to defy our self-doubt and choose to praise Him through singing.

Over the next four weeks, let’s learn from the wisdom of children. Parents can experience first-hand our Heavenly Father’s view of us. The wide-eyed innocence of a child can influence even the intellect of the most spiritually sophisticated. In week one – we explore lessons Jon learned as a new dad on his first night home.
