A lot of modern Christianity has quietly become a kind of Christianity where we choose to live with illusions, avoiding the reality of the cost of the Gospel and of our calling. Apostle Paul shows us in Ephesians that he acknowledges the reality of his chains and suffering as a result of his calling, yet his prayer request still wasn't "get me out" but it was "don't let me go silent in here."
