The Chairsofter Show

Andy was away this week so Adam and Eilidh took the lead for this one as they went through recent announcements, news and just generally chatted all things Airsoft.

This week on The Chairsofter Show we were joined by Silky, Daf and Phantom as we ran over the good and the bad of the Gunman Airsoft Midlands weekender. A fantastic alternative to the sub-par event that was taking place elsewhere that weekend we ran through what went on over the weekend and even convinced Kerri to book on for next years one in the process.

Tickets are available now, check out the Gunman Airsoft Midlands socials for details.

Dan is one of the best known UK photographers for Airsoft and never stops working. Join us this week as we sat down to find out his Airsoft story, his motivation and learn all about that work ethic (he often does two different sites in a day!) as we chatted to the man behind the camera. Make sure to check out his work too, it's epic!

Delta Armory is one of the brands that isn't as well known in the UK, but one man is trying to change that. This week we welcomed Dom (formerly of Balls Deep Airsoft Team among other things) as he is working to bring Delta Armory to the forefront of UK Airsoft. In a market that already has a number of options Dom explained to us what makes Delta different to all the others, while keeping the products at a fair price. We also sat down and discussed the UKs most recent scandal, Nozzlegate. Tune in to see what you missed out on.

This week on the show we were joined by Ash (Hidden Hedgehog) as we ran through the Warzone Festival weekender that was recently held at Warzone Airsoft in Coventry, UK. This was their first event of this kind and we went through the good and the bad from the weekender (to be honest there wasn't a lot of the "bad" to discuss). We can't wait to see this event come back and develop into a true alternative event for those who don't want to spend a fortune on a weekender event (this event cost half of the UK's "Premier" Airsoft Weekend event). I think all of the Chairsofter team will definitely attend the next one.

This week we were joined by Callsign Silky and Chezney as they spoke to Adam, Eilidh and Kerri about Gunman Airsoft Midlands and the upcoming GAM Weekender. They spoke about the site, what to expect from the weekender, a bit about Silkys history and more. The GAM Weekender going to be the teams alternative to NAF this year and we are looking forward to a cracking weekend of Airsoft that is affordable and enjoyable.

At long last we finally get Chris aka Captain Vortex on the show. We sat down and spoke about not just Vortex but everything on offer by Country Sports Wholesale - we're talking Edge Eyewear, high end furniture for your RIF as well as Real Steal components. It was great to finally sit down and chat to Chris.

Having been in the Industry for around 30ish years now we sit down and speak to Ian (or Ratty as you may know him) about his long time in the Industry. From the very beginnings of Airsoft in the UK, having run sites and businesses ultimately leading to his time in Viper Tactical, Ian has a huge knowledge behind him and is one of the genuinely nice guys in Airsoft. We also delve into the History of Viper, how it has come on from "that brand" that everyone knew for not necessarily the right reasons to one of the biggest names in Airsoft kit. Sit back, relax and enjoy this latest episode.

Forming the foundation for our new "After Hours" series was perfectly timed with a response by NAF not even 24 hours after we came off air. The NAF Team released a detailed statement to address the Customer Concerns about price increases with less on offer which can be found on all of their social media channels. We read through the response and analysed the content, was it too little too late? Have they actually addressed any of the publics concerns? Will this lead to a huge surge in bookings? Join us for this bonus episode.

In this latest episode of The Chairsofter Show we sat down to talk about our recent visit to Battle Stations in Snetterton, UK as well as the continued silence from the National Airsoft Festival. Join Adam, Eilidh, Kerri and Myself as we went through the lack of responses from the NAF Team despite offers to come and speak to you guys as well as responding to some of the queries to ourselves. We also went through the good and the bad from the Battle Stations visit, giving a full debrief of our day and our opinions - Warts and all.
