In “how we get by” I seek to uncover the meaning behind what drives human creativity. We’ll explore stories that run the gamut of the human experience- from incredible joy and connection to the devastation of heart break and loss - all through the lense of creativity and work. I believe the way we make our money over our lifetime absolutely leaves a lasting, perhaps defining, imprint on our lives. For some of us, our jobs are an outlet where we express our creativity - and for others our jobs enable us to find joy in creative endeavors somewhere else in our lives. No matter which of these applies, each one of us is a "creative type". If you’ve ever struggled with creative shaming, or negative self talk around creative expression this podcast is for you. Many episodes will center on an individual and their job or chosen career path. This will be a starting point for discovery.  Other episodes will be me speaking directly to you about things I’m noticing, uncovering or experiencing in my life with people that challenge me, encourage me, frustrate me etc.
