Today, my guest is Ian Oppermann. Among many hats, he’s Chief Data Scientist for the NSW Government in Sydney, Australia.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that massive companies like Apple, Facebook and Google all began as start-up businesses. In fact, almost every business begins as a start-up. But even the best ideas are fragile things.
