  • Courtney: Relying On Our Strengths To Be A Change Agent

Join me as I speak with Courtney Turich, as powerful change agent. Courtney shares how relying on her strengths has helped her to overcome the challenges and changes that have come her way. You will be inspired by Courtney to draw on your own strengths in your own life.

    ----

    About Courtney Turich:

Leader. Motivator. Coach. Visionary. Achiever. Real. Authentic.

Courtney is a trained business coach that excels in sales, marketing, talent acquisition, and leadership who began her healthcare career at Stryker in 2004. Starting as a field rep on the Navigation product line, she was quickly promoted to a Global Product Manager, bridging the technology gap between surgeons, engineers, the field team, and overall corporate demands worldwide. Moving back out to the field, she joined the Stryker Biologics division, leading a sales team and distributor network on disposables for half the US until 2014. With innovation being at the forefront, Courtney took a leap into the entrepreneurial world, developed a product and company that was featured on Shark Tank to win a deal with Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban. Missing the healthcare dynamics, it was time to step back into Medtech with Veran Medical, where she led a top producing team, from capital to disposables, which became critical for the company’s acquisition (acquired by Olympus Corporation).
Courtney is a risk taker who believes it's never too late for the next challenge!

  • Lynn: What's Act Two?

Some women fear aging. Those "big" numbers can hit them hard. Lynn Young is NOT one of those women. As she recently turned 60, she has had poignant moments of reflection on all of the transitions that she's experienced. Join me and Lynn, as we discuss some of the transitions that Lynn has experienced within her own life from career, marriage, parenting, and even retirement...kind of!

    ----

Lynn Young, Parent, Educator, and Life Transitions Specialist
Lynn has had many chapters in her own life, and she knows that change is the only constant.  Some of the biggest chapters in her life book have included teaching, parenting, and helping families of children with disabilities. While Lynn has left the classroom and her own child is grown, she finds herself called to support teachers, parents, and those ready to write their next chapter.  As Lynn remember the stress, overwhelm, and the joys of parenting and teaching, she realized she could have used some help along the way.  At times, she  was not sure who she was, and if she could do all that she wanted in life…Lynn just felt defeated.

Life coaching is Lynn's way of giving back.  She believes that sometimes we need someone to listen and affirm our feelings and struggles.  Someone who is able to help us find a different way of looking at things and move forward as we write our own next chapter.

We have many chapters in our life.  When finishing one chapter and starting the next many emotions arise, and sometimes we just need a bit of support.  Life Chapters Coaching is all about helping you find the answers to live your best life.

  • Jaime: From Working Full Time To Stay At Home Mom And Back Again

It's not easy for a hard-working career woman to make the decision to stay at home with her children when they're young — especially when she loves her job or is passionate about her career. The fact is, though, that stay at home moms have unique challenges of their own: society puts them under constant scrutiny and the workload of raising the kids, cleaning the house and doing everything else that needs to be done. When a mom stays home full time for a few years after she has kids, it can be just as hard to transition back into the workforce. Guess what? All those things you do as a stay at home mom don’t just stop.

Join me as I have an honest conversation with my friend Jaime who has gone through the transition of being a single, full time career woman to a stay at home mom and back to working full time - this time with the added pressures of having a spouse and three kids.

Lexi discusses the impact of losing her brother Daniel to Ewing’s Sarcoma. Lexi discusses her own experience, as well as how Daniel's diagnosis and eventual passing changed both her and the dynamics of her family.

Lexi Osborn self-describes as highly empathetic, extroverted creator who values the balance of rational analysis and intuition.
