This was an OK book. Like many of doom & gloom books there was a bit of technical story telling as well as biblical teaching, both of which will rub some people wrong.
I really wasn't taken in by the story at first but in the end I did start to care a little about the characters and I'll probably buy volume 2 if it ever comes out. I'm sure some people won't like the conspiracy angle but hey, that's why it's called fiction.

Was disappointed that I have to wait for the next book in this series. Loved the book. I had never read anything by this author before, but this one tops my list of SHTF books by far.
