The Chapel Fort Wayne

We are excited to welcome our longtime friend, Dr. Luther Whitfield, to deliver the message this Sunday. Pastor Luther is the founder and senior pastor of New Covenant Worship Center.

Many of us are much more comfortable talking about God the Father and Son than about God the Holy Spirit. Ever wonder why that is? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon concludes our series on “Theology Matters” as he discusses the person, proximity, and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives today.

Most religions you study will have some form of salvation in their beliefs. For the Hindus it’s absorption into Brahman after several reincarnations, for the Buddhist it’s nirvana after the elimination of desire, and for the Muslim it’s paradise through strict observance of their Five Pillars. But for the Christian, our theology of salvation like no other. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon discusses the power and gift of Christian salvation.

The Bible is under scrutiny today. The relevant and renewing power that Christians claim it to possess have come into question with critics opting for the theory that it is nothing more than a man-made document that is now outdated. Can there be any confidence that the Bible really is God’s Word? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon discusses the reliable and renewing power of the Bible.

Ok…so far we’ve settled that God exists and Jesus is divine, but if that’s the case then why did Jesus have to die? Doesn’t he have the power and position to simply declare that everyone is forgiven without going through all of that? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon dives into the many reasons the atonement was God’s only move.

The question of who Jesus is has ranged from the theory that he was simply a teacher, prophet, false Messiah, quasi-God, or a big, huge lie. So why should Christians be so confident in the claim that Jesus is God? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon takes us back to the first great debate on Jesus’ divinity and the theological importance of one simple iota.

One of the strongest arguments against the existence of God is known as the “Hiddenness of God” debate. This claim states that if God wants us to know Him, then He would make His presence abundantly clear by revealing Himself clearly to humanity. So why doesn’t He? This Sunday Pastor Brandon will continue our series on “Theology Matters” by showing that God most certainly has revealed Himself and has done so clearly.

One of the main battlegrounds in our culture today is on the topic of truth. Christians have looked to the Bible as their source of truth for the answers to the nature of God, salvation, and purpose. In our series “Theology Matters”, we will explore how the essential doctrines of Christianity impact ideologies in our culture.
