The Chapel Fort Wayne

Welcome to The Chapel Podcast! We recognize that 60 minutes on a Sunday morning is not enough to share all that we’d like in our announcements and sermons, so we’ve created this space in order to further conversations, make connections, and provide clarity.

Brandon is joined once again by Scott Lasater to do a deeper dive on the topic of suffering.

The number one reason that people struggle with the idea of a loving God is the presence of evil and suffering in the world. The honest truth is that it is a legitimate question. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brandon shares a powerful story in the book of John where Jesus gently leads us through the different questions we have about the suffering in our lives.

Scott Lasater is back this week to talk about the validity and reliability of the Bible.

The resurrection of Jesus is a major historical problem, no matter how you look at it. If it never happened, then Christians are fools, but if it did happen, it is the most important event in human history and demands a response. The question then is, did the resurrection actually happen? Join us for Baptism Sunday as Pastor Brandon discusses the evidence that Christ is risen.

Scott Lasater is back this week to do a deeper dive into the science behind a telescope and how that points to an intelligent creator.

The reliability of the Bible is under attack today. It is dismissed as God’s Word spoken to us through the objections of supposed contradictions, historical inaccuracies, or poor transmission through the centuries. But do these criticisms actually hold water? This Sunday Pastor Brandon will discuss how the New Testament specifically is not only the most reliable and well preserved ancient documents by far, but that there is a great case to be made it was written by God.

Scott Lasater is back this week to do a deeper dive into the science behind a microscope and how that points to an intelligent creator.

Famed atheist Richard Dawkins declared that, “Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence” – especially scientific evidence. Since the Enlightenment, the benefits of scientific discovery have also resulted in a belief that since God is not able to be observed or measured, that he does not exist. But is that true? This Sunday Pastor Brandon will discuss how scientific discoveries in the invisible realm are now some of the most logical reasons to believe in an Intelligent Designer.
