Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever felt like you were fighting the battles of life single-handedly? It seems as if no matter how hard we pray, God just seems silent. Through the life of Elijah, we learn that we can have hope when God seems silent. 

Martha was a doer, Mary was a dreamer. We often separate "working for the Lord" and "worshipping the Lord" when both should be one. Through the story of Martha and Mary, we see God's desire for service being in the form of authentic worship.
