Charles Peck was a 49-year-old man who tragically lost his life in the 2008 Metrolink train crash in California. This crash occurred on September 12, 2008, when a Metrolink commuter train collided head-on with a freight train near Los Angeles, killing 25 people and injuring over 100 others.

After the crash, Charles Peck's cell phone continued to make calls to his fiancée, family, and friends for several hours. In total, about 35 calls were made from his phone, even though he had died instantly in the collision. 

This story has captivated many people and is often cited in discussions about unexplained phenomena related to death and technology.
