While Michael Kelley is enjoying the beach in Tulum, Mexico, John Hancock and Megan McBride of Show Me Victories are on the air to speak with Missouri GOP Committeewoman Becky Arps on redistricting in St. Louis. Kevin Killeen then pops in to give us his take on various pitchmen in insurance commercials; backyard creatures; and Robinson Crusoe. Later, Cecily Hunter, public historian for the African American Initiative for the Missouri Historical Society, joins in studio to talk about the legacy of Josephine Baker. Baker, who died in 1975 at age 68, was a world-famous singer, dancer, civil rights activist, and key player in the French Resistance during World War II. Baker will become the first black woman and first entertainer to receive France’s highest honor by being inducted into Paris’ Pantheon monument.
