More from the Astros as an important offseason gets here too soon. Dusty wants to be back and his players want him back. Altuve and Correa both back the veteran manager for a return in 2022. Correa on the other hand sounds like a man who knows this was an end of era in Houston. We hear from all of them along with Alex Bregman.

On the final hour, Charlie kicks off the show talks about game 6 tonight giving the starting pitchers for the game between the Astros and the Braves before moving to the lineup for tonight's game between the two teams. Charlie then breaks down the Astros strategy for tonight's game in order to force a game 7 tomorrow and win the World Series. Charlie then moves on to the NFL, talking about the Chiefs-Giants game and how the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes impact during this season before talking about the trade deadline in the NFL. At the bottom Charlie breaks down the Houston Rockets and the struggles they are facing in the season.

On this hour, Charlie kicks off the hour talking about game 6 with Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves breaking down the lineup between the two teams with Astros struggling in the beginning of the series but able to pick it back up to make the series 3-2 with Atlanta leading. Charlie breaks down the first five games of the series for the Astros stating the Braves are the favorite to win the World Series unless the Astros have anything to say about that in tonight's game. 

Astros stave of elimination with a win in Game 5 and Charlie is live from Atlanta to break it all down. Huge at-bats from the bottom of the order got the offense rolling and we'll here from Marwin Gonzalez and Martin Maldonado. Who has the momentum with series coming to back Houston? Charlie has your answer.  

More from Game 5 as we hear from Dusty Baker and his thoughts on who is feeling the pressure in Game 6. Charlie takes us around the NFL as it was a tough day for the state of Ohio. Gary Patterson is out at TCU and apparently was given the opportunity to finish the year and declined. Not a decision that Charlie can get behind

Charlie takes a break from the Astros talk for a bit as he is joined by longtime guest and college football insider Phil Steele. There are big games all over college football this week. Phil gives his thoughts on the Georgia-Florida game along with one closer to home as the Cougars host undefeated SMU over at TDECU. Charlie is off to Atlanta for games 3, 4 and 5. He hopes for Game 6. A World Series clincher at home would be pretty sweet for Houston.

In the first hour Charlie breaks down the Astros game 2 win against the Braves in the World Series. He discusses what we should expect in Atlanta as the series shifts locations and how he anticipates the rest of the series to go. At the bottom of the hour Charlie discusses the atmosphere at Minute Maid Park and what it was like to have the roof open. Charlie wraps up the first hour discussing some storylines from around the NFL including JJ Watt, Deshaun Watson and the Texans trading Mark Ingram. 

More from the Astros Game 1 loss in the second hour of the show. Jose Urquidy will go in game 2 against Braves starter Max Fried. Advantage Braves? Looks that way on paper. Charlie gives you the numbers on the Braves #2 starter. Mike Tomlin wants no part of rumors regarding college jobs. We hear from the longtime Steelers coach in the final segment.

The Astros lost game 1 of the World Series which is what they do. But it does put Charlie's prediction of Astros in 5 in real danger. Gonna need Jose Urquidy to step up in game 2. The roof should be open but only because that's the way baseball should be. Not because of a directive from Rob Manfred. The Astros aren't in any real danger but winning tonight would certainly help.
