Phil joins the show for two segments to discuss with Charlie about the upcoming college football season and to talk about his upcoming release of College Football Preview magazine.

In the first segment of the hour, Charlie talks about the Astros loss to the Blue Jays yesterday. In the second segment of the hour, Charlie finishes up his analysis on the Astros game last night and talks about James Harden winning the NBA MVP award. In the third segment, of the show Charlie talks about the NBA awards from last night. In the last segment of the hour, Charlie talks about the MLB All-Star voting and where some Astros players are standing.

In the second hour of the show, Charlie talks to Phil Steele who is the creator of the College Football Preview magazine. In his discussion with Phil, he talks about what to expect from Texas schools like: UT, Texas A&M, Rice, and Texas Tech. In the third segment of the hour, Charlie highlights some of the opening weekend games for college football. Charlie caps off the show talking about homerun leaders in MLB.

Charlie starts off the show recapping the Astros good weekend against the Royals and the Lebron James sweepstakes. Charlie touches on some World Cup action, and gives a Kyle Tucker update. He talks about Carlos Correa’s walkoff on Saturday and Alex Bregman’s mustache.

In the second hour, Charlie discusses Justin Verlander and the AL playoff race between the Astros, Yankees, and Red Sox. Charlie talks about the Astros success despite Bregman and Correa having some struggles at the plate. He gets into the College World Series between Arkansas and Oregon State. To close out the show, Charlie discusses Keith McCants drug arrest and latest NFL settlement.

The show starts off at Prime Social Club, and Charlie talks about the Astros to start off the show. He also addresses the NBA Draft that took place. Charlie gets into a little World Cup action, specifically talking about Brazil’s tough win over Costa Rica. Charlie closes out the hour talking about the Astros.

Beginning the second hour we have Charlie discussing the draft and current and possible future team compositions in the NBA. Then we have Charlie recapping the recent World Cup games and predictions for the rest of the series, to discussing the contracts of draft and current players for our Houston Rockets.
