Caroline Jane Knight, the fifth great niece of the world-famous writer Jane Austen, joins us for this special episode. She recounts what it was like to grow up at the Great House, from the best hiding places on the estate to Christmas by the fireplace. As one of the last to grow up here, Caroline explains how Chawton continues to play a significant role in her life, even when living on the other side of the world.
