In humans, sleep appears to be critical to both physical and mental development in babies, children, and young adults. In adults, a lack of sleep has been associated with a wide range of negative health consequences including cardiovascular problems, a weakened immune system, higher risk of obesity and type II diabetes, impaired thinking and memory, and mental health problems like depression and anxiety.
These diverse ramifications of sleep deprivation offer strong support to the view that sleep doesn’t have just one biological purpose but in fact, through its complexity, is an important contributor to the proper functioning of nearly all of the systems of the body.
I am giving you 6 easy tips to sleep better and the 6th one might surprise you as it looks at negative emotions and the impact it has on sleep.

Do you know the greatest enemies that we will ever face? It is procrastination. How many people do you know like this or is it you? How many people know in their heart what they should doing and stall? They know what's right and they have good intentions, but they just keep putting it off and putting it off. We're always making some other excuse and I've discovered that what we're saying to ourselves is "I have good intentions, but just not right now."
Good intentions don't equal obedience. When God is speaking to your heart, when your conscience is talking to you, maybe about changing your attitude or apologizing to someone or treating somebody better, yet you keep putting it off and putting it off, all that's going to do is steal your joy and keep you from your very best.
I want to inspire you today to be a now person, start doing what God has put in your heart right now. Don't just be obedient, be extremely obedient, be a prompt action taker, and learn to listen to your conscience.
Enjoy the show!

Our words have creative power. If you want to know what you're going to be like five years from now, just listen to what you're saying about yourself. You are prophesying your future.
Too many people go around saying I'll never get well; I'll never get out of debt. It's flu season, I'll probably get it; This marriage is never going to last and then they wonder why they don't get any good breaks and why they don't see situations turn around. It's because they're calling in defeat. They're calling in mediocrity with our words.
We can either bless our future or we can curse our future. When you get up in the morning, you may not feel great. You may have some problems and looks like it's never going to change, but you need to send your words out in the direction you would like your life to go instead of complaining.
Don't use your words to describe your situation, use your words to change your situation. You may not feel positive or joyful, but dare to make a declaration of faith and just say, you know what, this is going to be a great day. I have God's favor and he's directing my steps. Whatever I touch is going to prosper and succeed.
You know what you just did? You blessed your future. You called in a favor, called an increase, called in good brakes.
Let me ask you, what have you been calling in? What are you speaking over your family, over your children, over your health, over your finances?

It's easy to go around feeling bad about ourselves, guilty and defeated, focused on our mistakes. And I know a lot of people that are living in regrets right now, I have a few of my own. Some of you didn’t finish school, wish you had chosen a different career or wish you had been a better parent.
Often we live life looking in that rearview mirror. We have to understand we cannot do anything about what's gone, but we can do something about right now.
We can write a new chapter in our book of life today.
