This is such a powerful tool, knowing that the words we choose to think and say are actually the deciding factor as to how our future will look.

What if "fitting in" to a new culture didn't have to feel so  hard?  Maybe choosing different words to describe it, and a different way of seeing it, could make a big difference to the experience of being an immigrant.  Now that's a fun topic to explore!  I had an idea that I share in this episode, and I really hope it feels uplifting.

Without meaning to, people may drive you crazy by constantly asking you we're you're from, how long you've been in your adopted country etc etc.  Not that you mind particularly (or maybe you do), but it can sure get repetitive and sometimes also cross a boundary and become too personal.  So what can you do to move onto other topics of conversation without appearing rude or cold?

As an immigrant, especially during the first days/weeks/months or even years of being in a new country, it can be easy to get sucked into the dark hole of loneliness.  And it feels terrible.

Whether it be for fun, for connection, or for making an additional income, many women have found great contentment by sharing their native language with others.

It has often helped them find their place within their new culture, creating a very real bridge linking their heritage and their adopted culture.  Their confidence skyrocketed, and they experienced so much joy. Maybe you'd love it, too!
