Bantu Scope is an independent Pan African Pop-Up Cinema. Bantu Scope hosts film screenings at the end of every month at Gallery Fanon. The cinema aims to showcase various documentaries and feature films created by independent filmmakers from Africa and the diaspora.

Phophi Mudau is a Fashion Designer and Founder of PDesignsSA, based inMakhado, Venḓa, Limpopo.Founded in 2013, PDesignsSA aspires to become a leading garmentmanufacturing factory, producingsuperior quality products. Phophi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences at the University of Venḓa. Upon graduationshe, like many young South Africans, found herself unemployed for 2 years.

Youth Alive is a youth organization in Soweto which was formed in 1960. It aims to inspire the youth to influence and inform the decisions of the youth to better their lives. They help with tutoring, character development, empowerment. They run development programs, youth clubs, camps, seminars and holiday clubs.

“Ukuxova”, is an isiXhosa word denoting the mixing of dough for baking – is a metaphor used for process of raising a child delicately exposed in the narrative.
