Gauteng Choristers is a multi-award-winning choir established in 1998 by a few individuals with the specific vision of taking South African choral music up to international standards. Since its inception the choir has staged world class concerts with international artists such as Reneé Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, Sibongile Khumalo, Pretty Yende, just to mention a few. The choir has won all choral eisteddfods it has taken part in. It has toured 6 countries in Europe, has performed at the USA Ravinia Festival and most recently, in 2019, with the Minnesota Orchestra and Chorale in Minneapolis.
