Prolonged immaturity comes when we refuse to imitate Jesus in learning obedience; this keeps us from making disciples.

Being jealous for the name of Jesus is the heart of being a priest.

Proclaiming forgiveness in the blood of Jesus is the message of the priest.

Creating access to God’s word is the service of the priest.

Growing in spiritual maturity requires suffering, but Christians are able to rejoice in their suffering because of the hope they have in Christ. Romans 5:1-5 tells us how to rejoice even while we are suffering!

Jesus saved us by his great grace. We owed a sin debt against God that we could never pay, but which Jesus, in the greatest possible demonstration of grace and love, cancelled out with his death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. We who are recipients of that grace and love and pursuing spiritual maturity in Christ should therefore demonstrate grace and love towards others.

If you want to grow in spiritual maturity, you must learn how to find your joy in walking with the Lord by turning your worries and anxieties over to Him and letting your thinking be re-shaped according to His Word so that it reflects HIs thinking.

God has spoken to us in his creation, but He speaks even more clearly to us in HIs Word. Spiritual maturity requires a passion for hearing from God through the Word and obedience to HIs will as revealed in its pages.

God lovingly seeks out sinners and rejoices over their repentance whether they're rebellious prodigals or religious duty performers.

God acts to rescue His people to justly repay evil people and to restore and reward His people

God is sovereign over kings’ hearts evil plots overdue honors and the judgment of the wicked.
