Dr. Jamie Khoury offers his patients over a decade of experience in various fields of health and wellness. Graduating first with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2005 from the University of Western Ontario, he then completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009 from New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Lauren’s passion for health and the human body began while attending Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. There, she earned a degree in neuroscience. She was also a member of the school’s Division 1 soccer team and was captain during her senior year. Additionally, she was involved with groups and clubs that centered around her greatest joy: helping others. These activities included acting as a caregiver for autistic children and mentoring underprivileged children.

Dr. Lauren was born and raised in Hamilton, New Jersey. She spent most of her early years on sports fields or at the Jersey Shore with family. She’s one of four children and feels fortunate to have two fantastic parents. Her identical twin sister is a physical therapist in Virginia. Both her older brother and younger brother live in New Jersey. Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading books that inspire her, running on the beach and serving at church.

Dr. Cheryl Schmitt is a holistic living advocate and chiropractic practitioner. She has owned her own wellness-based chiropractic practice for 20 years and in that time has also had 4 of her own children. She focuses her work on women, pregnancy and children’s health and wellness. 

She is also an unschooler, triathlete and podcast host at Fearless Family Health where she helps you dispel fears you may have surrounding your family’s health and wellbeing.

Her motto is “Live a Life You Can Love” and she loves helping people find their path to joy and fulfillment in life with their health, family, relationships and contributions. 

Under chiropractic care since birth, Dr. Pascal has a personal connection to chiropractic care that many doctors don’t have. He’s witnessed numerous important people in his life benefit from chiropractic, including his own wife who was saved from Ulcerative Colitis and a lifelong battle with the disease.

Because he’s been in close contact with the profession from a young age, becoming a chiropractor himself made perfect sense. He decided to attend the renowned Life University to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic and was even named Valedictorian of his class.

Dr. David Russell is a chiropractor and researcher, originally from Australia and now residing in New Zealand, with an interest in the assessment of vertebral subluxation.  His curiosity leads him to investigate how the reduction of vertebral subluxation may have an impact on function and quality of life.

His investigations and publications interests to date include: case reports, case series, clinical chiropractic assessments, and population studies.

Dr. Kent Rempel is Saskatoon, Saskatchewan born and raised. His football career led him into the University of Saskatchewan where he played 3 years as a running back and unfortunately battled hamstring injuries for 2 of the 3 years, which led to the end of his football career, but ultimately fired up his chiropractic career.

After much confusion on the career path decision-making train, it was one of his close friends who convinced him he could amount to more and to continue on with his education.

Leaving his hometown after 23 years he travelled south to Atlanta, Georgia and finished his chiropractic education in 3.5 years with honours before travelling back up north, and slightly west and into the beautiful wine country, Kelowna BC.

Now just 6 months into practice at Lifeworks Family Chiropractic he has seen the tremendous impact Chiropractic has on not only his life but all of the patients he serves in his community.
