  • "The Things We Do on Our Own Are Just as Impressive"

Welcome to the first episode of The Chocolate Factory 🍫🏭

For our first conversation, I sat down with Nayion Perkins — storyteller, photographer, filmmaker, and co-founder and Creative Director of The Pack World.

We talk about creativity, community, building The Pack World, the stories behind the well-known Pack Party series, and what it means to create something that’s genuinely rooted in the city that raised you.

But more than anything, this is just a conversation between two people who love Chocolate City, storytelling, and the people who make D.C. Chocolate City.

Pull up a seat. Welcome to The Chocolate Factory.

About The Chocolate Factory

From the publisher's feed

The Chocolate Factory is a conversation series by Humans of Chocolate City, created to make space for the people, stories, ideas, and experiences that shape DC and its culture. No scripts, and not really and interview either. Just good conversation with room to laugh, get serious, reminisce, follow a tangent, and end up somewhere neither of us expected.
