JaVaughn Hannah has been in the spotlight for a longtime. Playing alongside his best friend, Emoni Bates came a lot of opportunity to make a name for himself. And he did just that!

JaVaughn is a Mr. Basketball candidate in the state of Michigan, playing for Orchard Lake Saint Mary. He recently signed with Western Michigan with (legit) aspirations of making it to the NBA.

Bernard Varnesdeel was a two sport athlete (basketball and baseball) at the collegiate level. We talked to him about his playing days and how be juggled two sports on top of his studies at Aquinas College. Athletes that are thinking about playing two sports in college would really benefit from hearing his story.

Currently, Bernard is an educator and coach at Wyoming Public Schools. He also founded and runs a travel basketball team called B3 Athletics.
