The Harris County Clerk is facing a lawsuit from Texas AG Ken Paxton after two million unsolicited mail-in ballot registration letters were sent to residents. Paxton joined the Chris Salcedo Show with details on his lawsuit.

Left-winger MSNBC Host Joe Scarborough is even calling out the short-comings of the Seattle Mayor and Portland Mayor in their response to the unrest in their cities. Chris (for once) agrees with Joe, and says that these mayors are relying on begging, rather than force.

The CDC now says that only 6% of COVID-19 deaths were actually from COVID-19 directly. The other 94% died with COVID-19, but two or more underlying health issues. This changes the statistics drastically, and Chris is wondering why they hype in the first place!

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick says that while Hurricane Laura did some damage to Texas, the majority of the force impacted Louisiana. However, he says they are willing to help Louisiana in any way they need.

NBA Playoff games were postponed on Wednesday, as was the Padres game, after the players walked out in protest over the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin. Chris says that these guys are making his job pretty easy.
