After working a full 12 hour shift, a few laborers were shocked to find out that those that only worked an hour received the exact same wage. Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is works in the same manner. How is this fair? Is God doing us wrong when He blesses others even though they have only done a fraction of the work? Does doing more obligate God to give us more than others? 

Of all the virtuous qualities that Ruth possessed, her greatest might have been humility. Ruth is another example of the timeless Biblical principle that God exalts the humble. With God, the way up is always down. 

Everyone wants to be great, but what is greatness? Everyone has their own definitions of greatness, but only God's appraisal is the right one. Does your definition of greatness and God's definition of greatness match up? 

When Boaz saw Ruth, he saw a future bride. His commandments to the young men who worked in his fields concerning their treatment of Ruth remind us that our Heavenly Master is serious about how we treat His bride while we labor in the field. 

Ruth found some wonderful treasures while dining at the table of the master. 

The Jews were very privileged people because of all the blessings that God had bestowed upon their fathers. But when it came to realizing they needed salvation just like the Gentiles, their blessings and privileges seem to just get in the way. 

Before his world fell apart, Job was the most respected and admired man in his community. But it wasn't until after the trials of his life that he shined like gold. 

What exactly did Boaz believe about God? Where did he learn about God? During the dark days of the Judges, everyone was doing what was right in their own eyes. Boaz was one man who believed in a God that rewarded faith.
