The Christ Centered Life

Porn is powerful, tempting, and it appears attractive. A closer look, however reveals that porn destroys the real beauty of women and contributes to their oppression and destruction. In this message, Pastor Derek contrasts the ugliness of porn with God's beautiful design for women from Genesis 3:20-21.

1 John 2:15-18 describes those things which are of the world--the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life--and internet porn is rooted in each of those. In this message, Pastor Derek helps us understand the depth of sin involved with pornography and offers practical advice for dealing with it.

In Mark 5:21-43, Jesus heals two very different people with very different challenges. In this message, Pastor Derek uses those encounters to teach us about the power of Jesus and echo the challenge He gave so many years ago--do not fear, only believe.
