You heard that right. Another Christian told me that there’s no forgiveness of sins once you knowingly sin after being baptized. And you’re supposed to know better and thus do better and if you fail you won’t be forgiven. The text used to back this claim up is Hebrews 10:26. Since the Seventh Day Adventist church is studying the book of Hebrews this quarter (January-March 2022) I thought it only fitting to speak on this conversation I had with my supervisor on work about 2 years ago.

I have two testimonies to share in this episode that occurred when I was travelling by taxi to church on Sabbath. I honestly believe that it was the Holy Spirit impairing my hearing in order to protect me from both physical and spiritual harm.
